Tsunami in East Malaysia

This is the real tsunami in Sibu.No longer we can take for granted the voters of Serawak and Sabah.They are nobody's safe deposits.The Ibans and the Kadazans are standing up for their rights now and there is no turning back this time.Time has changed for the better.The Sibuans have shown the right way on 16th May 2010 against all odds.We salute the indomitable Sibuans and the birth of a new era of politics in East Malaysia.Bravo to the thinking Sibuans.

In future we must demand for fair, honest and clean general and by elections and the latest Hulu Selangor and Sibu byelection have shown the opposite. Who coined the stupid term of safe deposit as if the voters collectively is a herd of cows to be counted as nature's gift for the ruling party.

We need a reformed election system that reflects impartiality of the Election Commission, the Police and MACC and no last minute offer of goodies.Mainstream media including paid and free televisions must maintained a fair and balanced accessibility to all contesting parties.
